Margaret Horvath’s (1933–) parents taught her traditional embroidery techniques and patterns. Horvath, born in Hungary, now lives in Port Orange, Florida. She has taught courses on Hungarian embroidery in Ormond Beach and has given demonstrations and workshops around the state. She received the Florida Folk Heritage Award in 1995.
