Charles Clark began Florida Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Company in the mid-1920s. In the mid-1930s, Carl Reynolds bought the company. About the same time, the company came out with its now well-known Barracuda Brand of fishing tackle. Reynolds and his two brothers ran the company, which operated into the 1970s.
