This lure was first known as the Michigan Fin-Wing. It had been designed by William Brown’s father-in-law, and Brown sold it from a Michigan tackle shop. After his father-in-law passed away, Brown moved to Fort Lauderdale in the early 1950s. He began the Florida Lakes Tackle Company and produced the renamed Florida Fin-Wing.
